About the Project
Sante Adairius Rustic Ales is a celebrated local brewery with deep roots in the Santa Cruz craft beer community. Their website needed to reflect the character of the brewery while giving visitors an easy way to explore their beers, learn more about what they were drinking, and find their taproom locations.
We developed a custom WordPress website that made those parts of the brewery easy to manage behind the scenes and easy to explore on the front end. Beer information, photography, locations, and other content could be updated as the brewery’s offerings and presence evolved.
The result was a site with the flexibility of WordPress while preserving the distinctive, handcrafted character of the original design.
Where Craft Meets Code
A Beer List Made for Browsing
Sante Adairius has built a wide-ranging collection of beers, and the website needed a better way for visitors to explore it than a simple list. We built an interactive beer browser that lets visitors explore different styles and discover what Sante Adairius has created over time.
Organizing the collection into categories makes a growing library of beers approachable while giving each one a path to its own story.
Giving Every Beer Its Own Place
Each beer has its own character, artwork, and story. Individual beer pages bring those details together, pairing label artwork and descriptions with related beers visitors may want to explore next.
Behind the scenes, the structure makes it easy to add and organize beers as the collection grows without having to build a new page from scratch each time.
Bringing the Taproom Online
The experience of Sante Adairius goes beyond what’s in the glass. Photography throughout the site gives visitors a sense of the taproom, the people, and the atmosphere around the brewery.
We built the gallery to make that growing collection easy to explore while giving the brewery’s visual character a place within the website.
