About Project
Playful Pack is a growing franchise of dog daycare and boarding facilities with multiple locations within the U.S. They needed a modern, user-friendly website to provide key business information, help users find the nearest location, showcase services with pricing, highlight blog articles, and offer an easy way to get in touch.
We developed a scalable and flexible website powered by Sanity CMS as a headless backend and a custom Next.js frontend. The site delivers a seamless user experience, allowing visitors to quickly search for locations, view services and pricing, access private webcams, explore upcoming events, and sign up for promotions—all dynamically managed through a flexible content system.
To enhance usability, we integrated Google Places and Google Maps API, enabling an interactive location finder with real-time open/close statuses, service filtering, and user-selected preferred locations. Each location’s detail page is tailored with a modular content builder, ensuring location-specific service listings, pricing, and promotions.
Mobile responsiveness was also a key focus, ensuring pet parents can easily browse, book services, and stay connected on any device without frustration. Whether searching for the nearest Playful Pack, watching their pup through a live webcam feed, or reading the latest pet-care tips, users enjoy a smooth and engaging experience every step of the way.

Finding the nearest Playful Pack just got a whole lot easier. We built a custom Google Maps experience, integrating multiple Google APIs to create a seamless way for users to explore all locations. The interactive map pairs with a searchable location listing, displaying real-time open/close statuses, average star ratings from Google Places reviews, and service filtering to help users find exactly what they need.
For an even more personalized experience, users can set a preferred location, unlocking location-specific specials and making future bookings a breeze. With quick-access options to view location details or book services on the spot, this system ensures every pet parent finds the right Playful Pack—without the hassle. Built with precision, speed, and a little extra nose work, this map experience is the ultimate way to track down the best spot for your pup.
